Currículos de Educação Física na EJA
Abstract
The aim was to evaluate in curricula the contents and objectives of the physical education for Elementary and Middle school at EJA and reflect on pedagogical proposals. The documents selected to evaluate the contents/objects of knowledge and the objectives analyzed were from the cities of Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. The curriculum of the City of Rio de Janeiro was revised by teachers in 2021 and has Work, Culture and Environment as its axes. The curriculum for the City of São Paulo was prepared in 2019, bringing thematic units, objects of knowledge and objectives suggested by the National Common Curricular Base. Both are centered on body culture. The curriculum the Rio de Janeiro values the adoption of healthy habits and health care, as well as criticizing physical standards stereotyped by society. The curriculum the São Paulo has as its distinguishing feature the Sustainable Development Goals proposed by the United Nations. It is concluded that the curricular proposals could dialogue more with health promotion, a topic considered significant. However, its contents and objectives favor critical education and service to a diverse public.
