The RBSHC (ISSN 2596-268X), rated Qualis A3, is an international scientific journal dedicated to the development and dissemination of the ideas of Socio-Historical-Cultural and Activity Theory, as established by the scientific school of L.S. Vygotsky, A.N. Leontiev, and A.R. Luria, and its contemporary developments. Embracing the legacy of the research traditions that converged within ISCAR (International Society for Cultural and Activity Research), the journal's central mission is to promote the understanding of how consciousness, learning, and human development are rooted in cultural activities and historically situated social practices. Interdisciplinary in nature, it encourages contributions from areas such as Psychology, Education, Special Education, Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, Literature, Anthropology, Sociology, Mathematics, Physics, Philosophy, and Translation. Different methodological approaches are accepted, including empirical studies (ethnographies, intervention research, case studies), theoretical-bibliographical analyses, historical-documentary research, formative experiments, and literature reviews.

The Brazilian Journal of Socio-Historical-Cultural and Activity Research (RBSHC) — an international scientific journal dedicated to disseminating the ideas of the school of L.S. Vygotsky, A.N. Leontiev, and A.R. Luria, as well as their contemporary developments — invites the academic community to submit articles for publication on a continuous flow basis.

Aligned with its mission to promote the understanding of how consciousness, teaching-learning processes, and human development are rooted in cultural activities and historically situated social practices, the journal accepts interdisciplinary contributions from the following and related fields:
