La métamorphose de Dionysos : de l'esthétique de la tragédie à la physiologie de l'affirmation

This article examines the trajectory of the figure of Dionysus in Nietzsche's thought, from his early philological writings to his mature works. It argues that this trajectory should be understood neither as the repetition of an inaugural intuition nor as a succession of ruptures, but rather as a metamorphosis: the transition from an aesthetic and metaphysical category to a progressively physiological and affirmative principle. It further contends that the absence of the god during the intermediate period constitutes an active latency rather than an abandonment; that Zarathustra is Dionysian in its internal structure, even though it suppresses the god's name; and that the personalist manifestations of the late writings existentially dramatize this affirmation.
