PPGAV’s 40th anniversary

Abstract

The interview, which pays tribute to PPGAV on the 40th anniversary of its creation, was divided into two parts. In the first part, held on May 12 in the Laranjeiras neighborhood, Angela Leite Lopes, Paulo Venancio Filho, Rogério Medeiros, and Ronald Duarte gave their testimonies. In the second part, on June 2, at the School of Fine Arts, professors Maria Luisa Luz Tavora and Sonia Gomes Pereira gave their testimonials. The interviewers on both occasions were André Leal, Carlos Azambuja, Felipe Scovino, and Rogéria de Ipanema. In the end, the document brings together narratives, experiences, and transformations that recount the creation of the program and its activities, as well as the history of the School of Fine Arts. The transcription of the first part of the interview, conducted by Hansen Braga and Hellen Alves Cabral, had technical assistance from Danielle de Oliveira Cardoso Joia. It was edited by Carlos Azambuja and Felipe Scovino. Claudia Bartoly and Marilene Maia transcribed the second part, and Felipe Scovino edited it. Both meetings were filmed and photographed by Carlos Azambuja and Raphael Czamanski Pizzino.
