ATIVIDADE ASSISTIDA OU DISPOSITIVO DE COLETIVIZAÇÃO?
Abstract
This research is a participant observation that sought to analyze a Group Walk, created in the context of the Family Health Strategy. Data collection took place through a field diary that recorded the experience and interaction between user-walkers and workers involved. The Content Analysis methodology was used to analyze the data. Three categories related to the activity emerged from the exhaustive reading of the results, namely: Means for health education; Health promotion strategy; Collectivization device in the territory. Among the walking subjects, there was a prevalence of participation by elderly women and, on the part of the workers, the predominance of the intention of listening and community empowerment, but also preventive. It became clear that the Group Walk can be a collectivization device for committed listening and for the construction of therapeutic projects in the territory, favoring responses to social health needs that go beyond assistance to chronic non-communicable diseases. Taking the perspective of collective health as a reference, Group Walking has proven to be a powerful tool for health promotion, especially when overcoming the reductionist logic of assisted activity.
