Abstract

A taxonomic study of Ochnaceae species from the Restinga de Jurubatiba National Park, Rio de Janerio, Brazil, revealed that there are two genera and two species: Ouratea cuspidata (A.St.-Hil.)Engl. and Sauvagesia erecta L. The species are described and an identification key is given, together with geographic distribution, illustrations and comments on each taxon.
