Abstract

This paper intends to give some elements in order to think the Cartesian identification of knowledge to wisdom. The unity of reason and the unity of method demand that, in spite of all difficulties presented by the praxis, knowledge extends its scope to aspects that traditionally are seen as dependent on moral and on freedom.
