As imagens e os textos deste ensaio foram criadas em 2021, durante a pandemia de Covid 19, nas ruas da cidade do Rio de Janeiro. Recolhendo as cinzas dos dias e das noites passadas junto a meu pai no hospital, inventava outra escrita, que excedia a pesquisa acadêmica em curso. Sonho, pesadelo, imaginação e realidade se misturam, enquanto, do chão em que piso emerge a potência das raízes. O resultado, nunca publicado, faz parte de uma série de performances, artigos, vídeos e do livro Do que é feito o chão – performance situada e mobilização de práticas descolonizadoras e antirracistas na cidade do Rio de Janeiro, que integra a Coleção Novas Pesquisas em Dança, da Associação Nacional de Pesquisadores em Dança – Editora Anda, 2023.
