como o grupo Überwinden promove a inclusão social por meio da dança folclórica alemã
Abstract
This academic paper is based on the mediation of a public monument in Domingos Martins (ES), which represents the dance group "Überwinden," with the perspective of using the expressiveness of a local cultural tradition as a strategy for social inclusion. The German folk dance, in the materiality of the monument and its immateriality as a cultural trait, is being used as a tool for social inclusion, where the body projects itself as a mediatic instance that builds a narrative of belonging and cultural identity for the users of APAE in the municipality of Domingos Martins. The research is part of the studies conducted at the Extension and Research Laboratory in Arts - LEENA/UFES, focusing on public art in the state of Espírito Santo, and extends into a case study, combined with participant observation and interviews with members of the group’s coordination and the dancers themselves.
