Abstract

Objective: This article explores vulnerability as both a conceptual framework and an embodied experience, alongside its political potency, through an artistic composition that interweaves weft, threads, and textual fragments. The work proposes a visual and tactile metaphor, evoking the complexity of the concept through its materialities—textures, weaves, and colours—which symbolise both the fragility and the resistance inherent to the human condition. Image Description: The analysis of the artwork suggests that vulnerability constitutes a space of openness to the other and for social transformation. Its visual and tactile fragmentation invites a reflection on the provisional and incomplete processes of signification, thereby challenging hegemonic norms and suggesting new possibilities for care and collective existence
